I want this!

Only I want a better cushion on that seat and LOTS more pillows to lean up against. Other than that, it's perfect. Especially with all those great trees out the window. I think I'd hang a birdfeeder there so I could watch the birds in between books. Ahh...that would be the life!

Happy Reading (and Dreaming)!

P.S. Trish over at Desktop Retreat posted this lovely bookish nook a few weeks ago. I wouldn't mind have this one either.

  1. Yep! That would be awesome. Only I’d want the ocean out that window.

  2. What lovely reading spots. I think the only change I would make is to have a little table or tray that you could pull out so I could place my coffee cup (and a treat) nearby! :)

  3. Me too! I love book-adjacent posts like these.

And if there were an HGTV series about renovating homes to create snub library spaces like this? That would be fabulous. Who cares about granite counter tops? Hee hee.

    1. :D Yeah, I don't need granite either...but a show about creating your own cozy reading nooks and your own library? I'd totally watch that!

  4. I'd take either one, but the white one is especially gorgeous. And that view. Wow! I wouldn't leave a nook like that :)

  5. Lovely, but I wonder if I'd end up gazing out the window more than reading. But just look at all the books right at hand!

    1. Gazing out a window isn't a bad way to spend a day. :) Eventually you'd get back to your book.

  6. I like them both. The first has a more expansive window which I like. The second is nice too and the burnt orange walls perfect for reading Victorian and gothic lit.

  8. I've been quietly lusting after that top one since I the first time I saw it on Pinterest. But yes, it needs a deeper cushion and more pillows. And a blanket. And somewhere to set your teapot and teacup. I'll never have a spot that perfect, but a girl can always dream...
